I was just looking at the 48 volt battery parts for the SQ8. There are two 48 volt batteries, 4N0915105B without active cooling and 4N0915105D with active cooling.
That might determine SCAP vs LiIon, but I am not sure. I also found this illustration showing the major 48 volt components for the Q8. They don't point out the BMS, but I am guessing it is the box under the hood, or the small red box just in front of the 48 volt battery.
@ThomasWShea@retom PR code on my car is 0K0 - W/o alternative drive system. PR code on MY22 is 0K4 - Mild Hybrid (MHEV)
I found a description for 0K4 that says I-HEV (intelligent hybrid electric vehicle - which is an audi branded term, I think). I am also confused by 0K0...
EDIT: Does anyone else w a 2023 have an SQ8 that can confirm? Is it possible that 0K0 is used because they are deciding to describe the vehicle differently now? Maybe it does not meant recent criteria for I-HEV/mild HEV so they changed it to 0K0?

This has something to do with switching to the SCap instead of the 48v Lithium Ion. Only time will tell when scans of other 2023 models manufactured after October 2022 start to show up...
0K0 Without alternative drive system 0K1 Hybrid propulsion system 0K2 Gas drive system 0K3 Hybrid propulsion system PHEV 0K4 Hybrid propulsion system I-HEV 0K9 Drive system BEV
Keep in mind there are online decoders widely available on various sites for PR codes. Its very common to look at the actual vehicle data report available through Erwin and find the same pr codes with the same or clearer descriptions. One area will call 0K4 - MHEV and another are will call it IHEV.
If you didnt know already, usually your PR code sticker will be in the trunk of your car under the floor near the spare tire (if equipped). The second one usually gets put in the back of your car's manual. Those stickers, however, only represent a portion of the PR codes associated with a vehicle. For the complete list you must get it from the dealer or through Erwin.audiusa.com. I included the complete list for my 2023 at that link I provided earlier. Its on the ross-tech-forum's scans page under my autoscan.
@Mrclopec I referenced this post again and search for everything the picture of the paper work, and none of those items were in your Ross-Tech post, so at least we know, it's just not in your car's data in a place where we can get to it.
For what it's worth, the 48 volt batteries are made in Poland by LG Chem which is now called LG Energy Solution and on their website, it says they have a universal BMS for all their solutions in this automotive space, and it looks like the BMS is integrated w the 48v battery for these audi batteries.

What does your 48 volt battery look like? I can't find a part for the 2023 SQ8 48 volt battery in the U.S.? I am curious if it really is substantially different than the LiIon battery.
