I just had this happen to me over the weekend. Had it towed to the dealership and of course the part is on backorder with no ETA. 2019 Audi Q8 Premium Plus with 45k miles on it. The dealer is trying to find a loaner car for me, we'll see.

For those that have it repaired already, what did it say on the workorder? What is the root cause of this problem?

Wow! This is an extensive and worrisome thread. We've had various electrical gremlins (mostly programming errors) over 40K miles on our 2019 but nothing like these. I've long been conflicted about keeping the car past warranty and this isn't giving me a warm fuzzy. One conclusion is that while Audi makes nice basic cars that ride and handle very well, they're very weak on electronics. I think our will be on the for sale block as soon as its out of warranty.
