I have the same issue with my SQ8, which I have had for 3 months or so but is a 2021 model I believe (18 months old, doesn't have Alexa even though spec says it should)

I want to have the heating steering wheel button instead of Off as I never use Off but yes it will just forget at some random (ish) point throughout the day.

My car is due its first service in Feb and I am going to raise with the dealer to see if there is an update.

On a related note, the quick links on the top screen seem to stay in place, replaced the multimedia quick button with Apple Car Play and that appears to have stuck and been remembered which I thought was a previous bug I had seen somewhere. However, sometimes Spotify doesn't start playing when jumping in the car, but that might be a separate phone signal\issue I am having.
