Default How many RSQ8’s have been built

Anyone know how many of the RSQ8’s they have manufactured?

I am going to guess the WW production number is: "quite a few" (at least for a specialty car.) There certainly seems to be a magnitude higher availability on the RSQ8 than the RS6, Curious if that means demand on the 6 is that much higher thank the Q8 or if production for the Q8 is that much higher than the 6. I am going to guess that the reality is that demand for the 6 is outrageously high, demand for the Q8 is acutally not nearly as high as dealers think it is but they figured they would try to get ADM since they were able to get it on the 6. There are 73 RSQ8's listed for sale on Cars.com (only 2 RS6's) and I am going to guess that most of these are "available" and not presold units. The RSQ8 might be in high demand but dealers asking $10k-$25k ADM is going to keep plenty of supply out there. If I could find an RSQ8 configured with the options/color we want (which puts the MSRP around $128-130), that a dealer would sell me without ADM... then I'd grab one. But for now, I have given up (after too many frustrating conversations with dealers across the US) so we are going to stick with a loaded up SQ8 (which to be honest... is probably a better car for how we will use it since this is just my wife's car for running the kids around, etc. The slightly frustrating part is that a loaded up SQ8 is $116ish... really not that far off of an RSQ8 configured the way I want it so it feels sort of dumb not to spend the extra $$$ (at least from an MSRP perspective.)

@gregtay That is the exact reason why I bought my wife the RSQ8! I don't regret it at all, She absolutely loves the RSQ8.

Agree on the relatively meager price difference pushing me to the RSQ8. Also the interior colors for the SQ8 are pretty meh (for someone like me who doesn't want a black interior).

Yes.. but with ADM the gap gets bigger, that is my frustration :-/ $150-$165 (what dealers are telling me they want on a 128-130 MSRP) is a bigger gap from $116.

I don't know about WA, but I was able to find a dealer in the Bay Area and ordered an RSQ8 for MSRP. There are definitely other dealers trying to grab 10-15-20k above MSRP, which is ridiculous.

Audi Dallas stated they don't ADM either. Although they seam to load up options on the dealer RS's. They were great to work with and currently have two in transit from factory now. One with ceramic and one with steel brakes.

I asked several dealers - they all said that the demand for the RSQ8 was just simply higher than the RS6. It's still SUV vs wagon, and we know America loves SUVs and hates wagons generally.

I have been keeping a database on these and there are a bit more than 800 here this year so far. This trails both the RS6 and RS7 in volume.
Last year, there were less than 250 sold in an abbreviated model run, and those are extremely hard to find.
