I would like to share what happened for me. A few months ago I bought Kufatec Park assist upgrade for my Audi Q8 , If I remember it cost me about $ 800, actually everything worked fine only sometimes I had a problem with the camera image. So I went to the dealer and told him about it. When I picked up my car he told me there was a new software upgrade and that they had done it (zFas 0295 to 0365). And I saw that I don't have Park assist anymore, ok no problem because I still have a coding dongle from Kufatec, so I can doing again coding, but before that I did scan the OBD11 car. And it's good that I did, because this new upgrade zFas0365 made me component protection. And when I went to the dealer to remove it, they said they can't, it is lake this and they can't delete it. So now I have 6 control units Static errors and 1 control unit component protection and actually lost $ 800, ok now I know this upgrade wasn't worth it .
Any advice on how to remove it.

Why didn't you contact Kufatec and ask them for solving this problem. They offer a guarantee that their coding with a dongle will work in case the software is updated by the dealer. Ask them them to solve the problem or give you a refund.
I don't quite understand why Component Protection blocks coding. The CP is usually a protection for the hardware against being used in another car. Many car controllers have CP and these components are fully open for coding and adaptations.
Have you also tried to delete the errors?
Where are you located? In US or PL?
If your Audi dealer doesn't want to do it you have 4 possibilities:
1/ Find another Audi dealer as it only depends of their good wll.
2/ Find independent specialist which will be able to do it for you.
3/ Insist on Kufatec for refund as nowhere in their description does it say that you need to remove the CP in A5 and Audi dealers may not want to do it.
4/ Accept the loss of $800 spent on not working retrofit.
If you look on the "Matrix Led enabling" thread, there is a guy who makes some coding, adaptations and parametrization remotely. Perhaps he will be able to help but you will need ODIS for this.
I wonder why DariuszK was provided with a new ZFAS software in the first place?
Someone in the Matrix thread said they lost thier matrix functions after a trip to the dealer, I wonder if there's a TSB or something where ZFAS is being updated/upgraded?
EDIT: A little silly bird told me this wasn't related to ZFAS software version update.
DariuszK, will you post a screen shot of A5 "info" screen for us? What year is your Q8? I was told that 2019 and 2020 should have 0295 software version and 2021 should have 0365.
Here's mine, you can see I have the 0295 as well. I want no part of the 0365 if it might wipe out my matrix LEDs.
