I just started looking for a new car and the Q8 made it's way to the top on my list. My concern is it being a first year model vehicle. While looking at the options the Year 1 package was a must have. Question is "IF" you don't order the 2019 Q8 do you think you can you still get the same options in the 2020 Q8?
I looked at the 2019 Q7 and they offer a Titanium-Black optic package which I'm guessing would be the same as the Black Optics in the Q8 YR1 package. I don't see the S line option. Don't know if it ever was an option on the Q7? Appreciate the help! Thanks.

Year 1 package options:
22" Audi Sport® 5-V-spoke star design Anthracite wheels with 285/40 all-season tires
Black Optic exterior kit, including roof rails and mask
S line illuminated door sills
Red brake calipers (not with Dragon Orange or Galaxy Blue exterior color)
S line fender badges
S line front and rear bumpers

Based on Audi's history with those type of options (S line/Black Optics) If I had to guess the black optics will become an option on prestige trim after year 1 and the Prestige will probably get the S Line front/rear/side skirts etc... as options. Then the red calipers may or may not be an option and the wheels same thing. They may be an option in future years or they could change wheel options there are different ones we dont get in the USA vs what's available in Europe and usually only S or RS models get red calipers so those may not even be available. So you may be able to build a similar vehicle but not have everything exactly the same at the year 1 package. It will probably cost more too though if I had to guess.
