Your video clip has no mention of the brand of remote start, but a bit of detective works shows the installer logo in the upper corner is that of:
Extreme Mobile Sounds, West Paramus NJ / Tel # : 201-843-5522. You'd have to call them to find the brand...
Also found www.12volt.Solutions' remote start system for a self install, though at a pricey purchase cost.
Note this system also has the advantage of retaining use of your OEM Audi key fob as the remote starter (as opposed to many systems that require their proprietary fob, thus two fobs) BUT requires you to leave your second Audi fob in the sidewall, available in emergency but essentially difficult to access.

That's a discontinued VW part that is not compatible with the Q8 (or any other Audi).
Check out my thread below.
The kit is compatible with the Q8.

That's amusing. If you have to "give up one key," then it's not an Audi produced part. It is just a kit very similar to the one I just posted in the link, but significantly overpriced like everything at the dealership.
My kit was under $400 total and works perfectly fine. It even can be controlled by the other OE remote AND an app unlike the dealership offer.

Has anyone tried Viper Remote Start? It's a spendy option but you can start it from your phone. https://www.viper.com/smartstart/pro...e-start-system
