Removing Exhaust tips on an SQ8 ?

I've had mine powder coated for about year now and they've held up quite well. I paid about 100 dollars to have it done. Normally you'd want to Cerakote them but since they're not actually attached to the exhaust they don't get hot enough to ruin the powder coat.

Audi sells OEM black exhaust tips for the SQ8 and SQ7. I just bought them for my SQ7. $250USD shipped. Cheapest option is probably to remove and powdercoat however.
