Now I know where the misunderstanding is. 4M0071904 is an accessory resonator only for SQ7 and SQ8 and only for US and CDN market. I assume it is either installed at the port or by the dealer. It seems to me that both the SQ8 and RSQ8 leave the factory with 3 resonators also with sports exhaust and the main difference is probably in the sports catalytic converters.
I also assume that the cars for the US and CDN markets don't have a DPF which also makes a significant difference in the exhaust sound.

This is exactly what is on my SQ8 with the sport exhaust resonator delete that was completed at the port.
one of the sales guys I was speaking with was arguing that the RSQ8 DOES NOT have a 23 in winter wheel and tire package , he said " There is no such thing as a 23" winter tire !!" ........................yup WRONG , its even on their consumer site !
