Is there a release date for USA SQ8 and or the RSQ8

I feel like there has been radio silence on the US spec SQ8 since the European model was unveiled earlier this year. The RSQ8 is scheduled to be unveiled next month at the LA Auto Show - maybe the US spec SQ8 will also make an appearance then?

For the RSQ8 I have talked to two local dealers and they are expecting ordering to start late this year or in January with deliveries towards the end of Q2. I take anything from a dealer with a grain of salt but I would think the RSQ8 will be available around the time the RS6/RS7 start appearing which Audi has said Q2/Q3 of 2020.

Thanks for the info. That SQ8 would be the only way I would consider one again. The RS will probably be $140K too many others to choose from then.

I agree Ant. I have ben waiting as well for the SQ8 but I am running out of patience. Might just buy something else unless we get info soon.

Yes I can't seem to get any info on the SQ8 or the RSQ8 . I would not spend the money on a RSQ8 but I would consider the SQ8

Cannot be built yet as a factory order. So certainly not this year and likely not until Q2 next year

I didnt see anywhere that says RSQ8 will be at the LA Auto Show, where do you guys see the info?

I don't think Audi has officially confirmed it but multiple Instagram automotive journalist/influencers have confirmed it will be unveiled there (people who were invited to the Audi Sport unveiling of the 6 new RS models). Additionally several Audi dealers in the US posted photos with captions indicating LA auto show. The date I have seen is 11/20. I would watch the IG profiles of Auditography or AudiKult for information.
