I recently started feeling a slight squeak/vibration when turning the steering wheel at take off from my driveway or from one street to the next. It is very subtle. I can replicate it when sitting still and turning the wheel slightly back and forth. Has anyone experienced this issue. Any advice on what it could be or how to solve it? Does the steering column need to be lubed periodically? Thanks for the help.

I have experienced this myself. Have not had it diagnosed as it does not happen all of the time. Would be interested if anyone has.

What we've experienced is not a squeak but your description sounds familiar. Our 2019 Q8 Prestige/Air suspension) has a groaning sound of sorts that occurs with the steering wheel at or near full lock, and at very low speeds; driveway/parking lot maneuvers bring it out. Audi replaced the center differential at 18K miles, but 16K miles later it was back. They refused to do anything; said it's typical on Audi 4WDs. Another reason I'm not fond of Audi; they are very reluctant to stand behind their cars.

Same for my 2019 Q8 Prestige with Air Suspension. Only at very low speed. It has been like this for some time (more than 2 years IIRC). I recently bought the extended warranty and the dealer did the full inspection, they said everything is fine...

I also have air suspension, but I don't think this has anything to do with air suspension or the center differential as suggested above. Mine is just squeaky at the steering wheel. I don't think it is a problem...its just annoying.
