Default Vessel Number Lookup?

Hello!

I have a RSQ8 coming but it's been on the boat a month, was hoping to get an update. My sales rep showed me the screen she sees, and the ETA for port is still 2 months off, seems like it's wrong. I did see "vessel number" in their system, is there a way to translate that to a boat name?

Try putting the vessel number in marinetraffic.com and see if it gives you anything. If its an actual vessel number not some internal tracking number it should give you something.

I'm pretty sure that it is internal, sadly.

When I imported a car from the UK here to the states I was able to track the ship most of it's journey using various websites. I was able to watch it go through the Panama canal too which was interesting.

For example this was the vessel that brought my car to the US.

Using free information you'll only be able to track it's location when the ship is close to a shoreline. If it's out in open sea you have to pay to track it via satellite.

1 to 3 months shipping time is not unheard of since the ship usually makes various stops at different ports along the way. Mine took 6 weeks to arrive from the UK to Port Hueneme.

What is your vessel number? I could likely give you the vessel name if you give me the number.

I can't send you a PM. Do you have the Commission number? If so, you can message Audi USA on here and they should be able to provide you with the info you're looking for.
