Hello!
Like many of you I came to Q8 from Q7 which I still got (year 2016). One think that I noticed when switching to Q8 was that steering wheel needs a lot more power to turn around. I even tried to play with individual settings but this do not change nothing.
In Q7 and my S3 when in comfort mode - steering is super light and comfortable - that is what I like in Audis. OK its not like Cadillac (got one and loving it) but you know what I mean![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Question is - is Q8 more "sporty focused" and they make steering assist level weaker on purpose?
One more thing could be that on Q7 I have 255 tires (20") and on Q8 285 (22") but it should not make such a difference!
Or maybe tires are so sticky (conti 6) that is making this effect?
Any of you had similar feeling about that or it just only me?

Do you have the rear-axle steering? I do have it, and I found the Q8 steering felt artificial and too heavy in the Sport setting so changed it to Auto and it feels much better.

Yes I have rear-axle steering in Q8. I have it on auto/comfort and for me its still too heavy (compared to Q7), but I guess I need to use to it, which I slowly do.
Indeed Q7 have a light steering even in dynamic mode - but I did like it - its not a performance car, so why it should have?
