Wormy Smell inside?

Long shot: Do ever you let your kids eat in the car? If so, do they drop food? The foot vents under the seats are uncovered and unprotected, so it's plausible to have a piece of food roll in there and stink up the car.
Second shot: Replace your cabin filter and see if that helps.

Agree, w 2 cars, issues could be environmental. something specific to the geographical location where the vehicle resides (outside under the same tree w plugged drains or the same mouse family near by) or same users/ passengers (kids dropping a particular snack or liquid item)

This is too new car for bad smell coming from A/C ducts. And the way the air conditioning is set doesn't matter - could be manual or auto setting. There should be no unpleasant smells in the car as described by the OP. Plastic elements of a new car, glues or varnishes used in production may smell but it is an easily recognizable, chemical smell.
As I wrote before: it may be the smell of mold under the carpet related to the accumulation of moisture due to a clogged sunroof or air conditioning condenser drain.
And of course, it can be the result of leaving some surprises in the car by passengers (small or big) or external factors.
