Breaking News!!
Take this as you may, bt this is real information. A number of you have been promised cars, however things have changed. Your deposits could potentially be refunded very soon if they haven't already. Audi is charging every dealer who wants to sell R8's a $100,000 fee just to be able to sell them. The bigger dealers will be recieving two which would mean in order to break even on their over head each one would have to go $50,000 over sticker. Watch out

will adjust the price of the R8 to reflect demand. Just like they need to discount an A4 to sell that model. Supply and demand.
Don't think anybody has posted a list of confirmed dealers, but only a few think it's worth the effort. That's also no surprise. Of course that initial fee will be spread across multiple years of availability.
Some dealers will have taken deposits, just to guage interest and see if it's worth shelling out the dough. Of course those dealers will refund the deposits if they feel it's not worth it.
Perhaps I am missing something here? If so, please let us know.

Calm down. You don't need to be so harsh about it. I joined this forum today to let you know what my dealer told me and I had the second one on order. Try putting your harsh enthusiasm into another hobby

reposting.
Sorry if my closing statement above sounded harsh. It was not intended as such. I figured you had been following the forum for a while before posting, so was baffled that there was no additional information.
Especially since you posted in all caps, which suggested something new and of extreme importance.
