Composite brakes have their downsides. Say you go farming a bit. If a pebble gets
between the rotor and caliper and scores the disk, you have to throw it away. It can shatter at any time under stress. I don't know what they cost for Audis, but official composite rotors for Ferraris are around $5K per corner. There might be an option out there for 25% off that.
On the other hand, if you are wailing away on them at the track, they are utterly consistent no matter how hard you beat on them
