Audi SuperBowl Commercial review thread
what do you guys think? Just watched it a few times and I think it's pure class.

I found the Audi Super Bowl ad to be an excellent parody of the Godfather, and while many viewers won't get it because of their age (having never viewed the Godfather movie) or the fact that they are not into automobiles, the ad will hit those who know and those who are sports car savy. Makes me proud that I am ahead of the curve having my R8 since Oct! ENJOY !

Isn't that the front of the diesel concept?
I thought they were going to use the V8. I would have liked to see the actual car get 4-5 more seconds of air-time but the general style is good. Audi marketing is doing pretty well. The original R8 commercial is my favorite car commercial ever (slowest car we've ever built). Very classy stuff.

It's fantastic to see the R8 in an add that is, like you said, just "pure class". And like the movie "Godfather", the R8 seems to be capable of becoming an icon of this era. We may all look back twenty to thirty years from now and immortalize the R8 as one of the best sports cars ever produced.
Time will tell.
Now that I've seen the add... the super "bowel", doesn't seem that exciting. Go ahead... flame me! I'm off to cheer on one of my own today.
