Ditto! My friend (who unlike me, can afford one) called last night..
& said "have you seen that new R8? Now I have a new goal!". I told him that he might be waiting forever, as the wait list is 18-24 months.
He knows that I am Audi/VW nut, but he's never considered them for himself before the Superbowl commercial. Advertising works...

Yep, 10 best from MSN Fox Sports, In the top 20 (out of 60ish) in voting

Re: the audi ad worked. I work for Audi in...
By mission accomplished I mean that Audi finally has people looking into the brand that may not have before the commercial. Even if they just go to the website to see the R8 they may think about us when they go to look for their next car.

by the way, the truth in engineering website was 100x slower after the commercial than before it
MANY, MANY people visited the website, all thanks to the commercial. There is no doubt that that commercial worked. As opposed to you, everyone I know who saw the commercial loved it. Everyone got it. Not sure who you're hanging around, but it worked wonders for Audi.
