Default Car not starting up

I seem to be experiencing a problem. Car's not starting up. I turn the key in the ignition and it's either not doing anything(as if the battery was dead) or going "BRRR" as if it attempted to start the engine and stopping. A few times it went CLOSE to starting but it died. I don't think it's the battery, I've tried jump starting it for about one hour.

Anyone have any ideas?

Uh-huh, tow driver is coming right up... I've tried for another 30 minutes this morning to no avail. Oh well...

Tow truck driver came. He had a very nice tow truck, with a platform that comes completely off so the car doesn't have to climb a slope. Very thoughtful of them.

I got in the car to put the key in the ignition so we could move the steering wheel while pushing the car onto the platform. I figured I might as well try again, see what happens... and it started!

I don't understand what happened, or why. I sent the car to the dealer anyway, so they can check it up. It's very weird...

I rarely charge stuff in the cig lighter. I think I've used it twice or thrice at most.

Really cold here? Right now it's 18C/64F. Temperatures haven't dropped under 10C(50F) for a few days now. And the car has only been standing still since Monday evening, so about 72 hours. That's not a long time to NOT start a car.

I will keep you posted.

Now why didn't I think of that? A shame I already sent the car over at the dealer's. I'll call them and suggest that.
