I've seen several photos of the great carbon fiber sideblades and interior trim kits. Unfortunately, couldn't order them with my car. Where has everyone been purchasing the blades, and any installers in the southeast one could recommend? I saw someone selling the sideblades for $4200 - wow - it was only a $2000 dealer option (if you could get them)

ordered mine from elite carbon fiber for $2999. i'm expecting delivery in the next couple weeks. i'll post a photo when i get em on. they will be providing a detailed step-by-step instruction manual on removing the originals and installing these. they also offer the V-12 version with a wider scoop...i went with the stock R8 appearance.<ul><li><a href="http://www.elitecarbonfiber.com">http://www.elitecarbonfiber.com</a</li></ul>

Floormat turned me on to these guys. They are real. They have the product and it's all OEM.

In my opinion it was worth the premium price to have access to the product.

Thanks - if I may ask, who did your install? I wonder how difficult it is?

I had the install done by my dealer, Prestige Imports in Lakewood Colorado. They were amazing. Ask for Jim Frost. They also did all of the custom painting of the wheels, pipes and front grill surround.

Installation :: The side blades took 15 minutes. The engine bay was a 4 hour job. The interior was a big project that consumed 4 days and a complete removal of the dashboard. And totally worth it. The carbon is so much more pleasing than the stock materials.
