If you're planning on buying an R8, your yearly income should be at least: ?

If you have a cheap place & no kids ... then you don't have to earn much ...
Supposing your net income is $3000/mo and you are only renting an apartment for $400, then you spend $600 on food & stuff, then you have $2000 to spend each month .. that's enough to get in the seat of an R8 if you are low maintenance with food and clothing.
Rather than get an R8, I am building my vacation loghome. If I sell this property, my immediate profit will be $120K-$130K at the very least compared to other similar homes in my area. It's like getting a free R8. But will I sell it when construction is completed this January 07 ? I don't think so. The R8 is nice but my A6 Avant makes me happy.
My point - life is a choice. You either spend money on real estate or on cars, or balance both.
