Ok, but did you do any before and afters with just the chip (not exhaust)?

Will it be the same for R8, or improved?

Default I'll have to join the league of ballsy owners and update the exhaust.

I agree with you on the rest of the package. The car really doesn't need 8-15hp upgrades at risk of early detonation. And, I may feel different about the exhaust after living with the car.

Default We're seeing gains on par with the RS4. Throttle response and midrange torque is way up...

The owner of the car was thrilled at the difference over stock, which is hard to quantify with dyno numbers.

Default The car sounds devilish

I really can't imagine what an upgraded exhaust could improve in terms of sound. The online clips I have heard aren't really that obvious in terms of differences. I don't think I found a comparison between before and after exhaust mods anywhere. Anyone know any?

Default torque spread on the R8 is wider than on the RS4 anyway.

what is the improvement with the flash?

Default I think the factory software is a cream-puff, don't touch it.

Sorry to jack Revo's thread, but this isn't a 1.8T GTI. I honestly think that anyone who buys this program from them will not know anything about cars and how already maxed-out from the factory this high-revving V8 is.

The fact that Revo's raising the rev-limiter more is absolutely nuts in my opinion. Based on just driving my car through various scenarios and encountering several limp-mode stages (heat-soak, prolonged aggressive driving, etc.), mis-firing on cold mornings, and break-in stages (like how much power I gained just by racking up the miles on the motor) WHY would you replace this genius software and potentially ruin your motor for a measly 9HP/20TQ?

The factory software will adapt automatically to intake (flap), exhaust (DPs, cat-back, dump-valves, etc.), and fuel-octane (race gas, 101 VP, etc.) changes... what more do you want?
