Congratulations to Audi on a fun event. Good food, good fun and lots of beautiful people and celebrities. The star of the show was the R8, of course. A very handsome and exciting car - the design elements make the other cars in the 110K range look kind of frumpy. The engine under glass, though obviously done by others, is very impressive appearing. I got to sit in the car and found it very comfortable with quite an "intimate" feel. And when they started the R8 up - wow - what a gorgeous sound. Looking forward to driving one eventually, but to me this could be the first legitimate threat to Porsche's 911. If this car goes as well as it looks and sounds, might let my 997tt go for one.

Kudos to Axel Catton and his staff at Audi Forum in NYC for a great event.
