Default Willing to trade my F430 for an R8

I'm posting here (in addition to the "for sale" section) to let you guys know that I have decided to accept several types of cars as trades on my 2006 F430. The picture link is bellow.

I'll consider trading for a: Carrara S, Panamera S or Turbo, 2010+ Twin Turbo or Turbo S, Audi S5, Aston Martin DB9 or Vanquish, Audi R8.

I'm just looking for something that "I" consider more "drivable" on a daily basis. If you, or any of your friends are interested in such a trade please let me know. I'm pretty wide open on possibilities.

No, it's not a scam. What is wrong with you people? I just want to sell my car because I don't drive it. I want a daily driver to replace it with. Originally I set out to sell it and have now decided I would take a trade because I want an additional car. That's all.

This makes no sense. If you trade the Ferrari for another car then your not gaining an "additional" car, furthermore what stops you from selling the Ferrari and purchasing a replacement vehicle?

Nothing strange about this post at all, IMO. I effectively did the same thing - sort of: I had 20-grand on deposit with my Ferrari dealer to get on the waiting list to order a 458 Italia for delivery next summer. I was antsy and thought I'd shop for a low mileage Gallardo Spyder or F430 Spider and then trade that car in on the F458 when it arrives. I found an '08 430 with 1800 miles on it and a 2010 Gallardo with under 300 miles and both were asking around $209K. Before spending over $200K on a used car I decided to check out what could be bought new for similar money and once I got behind the wheel of the R8 Spyder and started shifting gears with the manual transmission (tired of paddles because they are just not as engaging or fun as using the clutch pedal and hearing the clack of the gated shifter), I was hooked and bought the car. The mighty F430 was something special in 2006 but by 2011 it isn't nearly so special that it would be worth the same money (or more) as a new R8, so it was a no-brainer for me. There aren't many cars out there that I'd trade my R8 Spyder for, not even the vaunted F430.

We are taking in an F430 tomorrow for the V10 Spyder as well. It is nice to see people finally recognizing the R8 as an upgrade/replacement from the Ferrari.
