06 A4 Bose System Lights Flashing

I have an 06 A4 with the Symphony II/Bose sound system. Over the past several days the lights that illuminate the various functions/buttons on the head unit flash on and off intermittently when the headlights are on. Has anybody else seen this and do you have any idea how to resolve it?
