1996 A4 dash plate removal

I would like change the stock head unitl and install an aftermarket.
To do this one must remove the dash face plate around it and the temp controls.
This is a single piece plate. can anyone be of help??

you don't have to touch the dash

all you have to do is remove the radio. it is explained in the FAQ
