Default 2 x 4-channel amps, how to run 2 x 4-ohm dvc subs with this amp?

While I was doing some early morning laps at the local pool some low-life smashed the front window of the car and took my mobile phone, wallet and then into the boot and took my sub box and Alpine amplifier.

It was my fault for leaving the wallet and phone in the front console in full view.

I've managed to get some used gear until I can put together the budget to replace the stuff I lost. I've now got 2 x Coustic 481qe 4-ch amps and a sub box with 2 x 10" subs 4-ohm dvc.

I will use one amp to drive the front and rear speakers. I tested one of these amps (before I bought the Alpine amp that was stolen) with my front and rear speakers and it performed well.

How do I wire up the subs and the 2nd amp to run the dvc 4-ohm 10" subs? This amp is not 1-ohm stable so I can't run the subs in series with the amp briged. I'm stuck with the amp running at 4 Ohm Mono: 2 x 240 Watts.

So how should I wire the subs?

The amps specs are are follows:

- Rated Power @ 14.4 V (0.1 % THD) 4 Ohm Stereo: 4 x 60 Watts
- Rated Power @ 14.4 V (0.1 % THD) 2 Ohm Stereo: 4 x 120 Watts
- Rated Power @ 14.4 V (0.2 % THD) 4 Ohm Mono: 2 x 240 Watts

Thanks in advance.

Default Wire the VC's in parallel and drive each sub bridged into 2 ohm (if the amp is 2ohm stable bridged)

which it probably isn't judging from the spec

Default Unfortunately the amp is not 2-ohm stable when bridged, hence my question

Is there any other configuration that might work?

Default

run each sub's VCs in series for an 8 ohm load, put each sub on one bridged channel of the amp

With that smallish power output you'd be better just running a single sub one VC per bridged channel
