Ok, I'm new here, go easy. The left channel on my factory radio is going out. I believe it to be the head unit and not the wiring. I don't know if I have the Symphony I or II. Do A4s and S4s use the same exact radio as the A6 or are they different? I'm probably going to try and find one used and want to know what other models are the same. Anyone have one for sale? Thanks

for different cars. I.e. the Symphony I in an 00 S4 and the Symphony I in an 00 A6 have different size face plates on them. Not sure if the head unit itself is exactly the same (I would assume so, but not positive), but if so, you may be able to swap the face from yours to a new one.
Do a search on these forums for 'Symphony dimensions' and you should get some hits showing the differences.
Look in the classifieds here, on AudiZine, AudiForums, Fourtitude, etc, and on Ebay... there's usually a few Symphony's for sale somewhere. BTW, I bought my Symphony I for ~$125 a couple months ago, so that's the price range you should expect to see one for.
