I wanted to replace my headunit with fold out screen of some sort, maybe the Eclipse. My question is, what is going to happen to all the electronic displays on the dash. The display has the station and the cd track number and other sorts of information linked to the Symphony unit. Is it just not going to work or what? How would someone go abouts wiring one up?

I was told by the dealer/Sales Manager that the on-board diagnostics were integrated into the stock stereo. She stated that removal of the stock stereo would eliminate OBD and therefore void the warranty. However, I have seen that many people have replaced their head-units, so I doubt that this could be true. She claims to have been in contact with AoA Service and they confirmed that the stereo has OBD built in. Does anyone know for sure if this is true or not?
