Hello, newbie here. I took delivery the second week of June for my new 2018 S4. I had it built to the add on's I wanted, i didn't take a dealer model... I personally love the car, it's my daily driver, when I start it makes me smile every time. On to the issues... I'm having issues with the Sirius radio reception. FM reception seems to be fine. The issues is that the Sirius reception comes and goes... I brought it back to the dealer and they said the amperage to the antenna was low so they replaced it. It's a bit better on the highway but still cuts out all the time on the highway, secondary road and of course back roads. I have had many Audi's over the years as well as other cars that had Sirius and no issues. I had a 2008 A4 and 2016 A4 all with Sirius radio and it work perfectly fine. 90% of my driving is typically the same driving as I had with the 2 previous cars and no issues. Now with the 2018 S4 it does not work. I guess its better to have Sirius issues vs an engine issue.... However I want it resolved. The dealership has said they are not aware of other issues so I'm posting here to see if there is any data out there. I have an appointment in a few weeks for it to go back in again. Maybe the MMI system?? How bad would it be for the dealer to replace? Will they need to rip my whole dash apart? Am I opening myself to other issues if the deal replaces the MMI system??
