99.5 Bose stereo w/ 6 disc changer ERR1

Tried to search, but couldn't really find any definitive fixes as most people's were repaired under warranty. Anyone have any ideas for a fix?

this is dumb but...

maybe its not the changer...
Could they be bad cdr? Try some genuine CDs.
And maybe the CDs are upside down. Flip em over.
