A3 owner here...question about aftermarket amps

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/95585/july2005_003.jpg"></center><p>Looking to see if anyone can provide me options to where the best place is to mount an amplifier without having to drill it into the back seats, etc.

Also, the built-in subwoofer in the A3s, how good are they? Would you recommend I switch it? Thanks in advance.

If it's a 3 door model then you can mount the amp behind the rear speaker panel

The A3 sub is hopeless, you'll get a huge improvement by switching to a proper sub

Here's some info

YOu can fit the amp where the Bose sub fits...and it is pretty weak.

We did an upgrade with a 2006 A3, retained the OEM RNS-E HU, and upgraded the front components and the sub with a Zapco DC360.4 amp - all stealthed
