Kwakazaki

Stuff that I’ve already done:

• checked charge state of main battery
• checked charging system is working
• changed and checked key fob batteries
• resync’d keys transponder using VCDS
• resync’d keys remote chip using ignition sequence

Such that both keys then function properly both manually and remote. Remote lock with bleep and side marker flashes all work flawlessly.

Then I go for a trip, restaurant, or to big box store, etc. and the key will randomly drop it’s remote functionality!
I cannot see or envision the reason for the remote functionality to be dropped? Still works manually, i.e. car still recognizes the transponder.

Anyone else had this problem?
