Default a4 sub location? factory premium location?

I got my power wire ran for my amp....but I cant seem to find the factory amp. I took off the right rear trunck panel, didnt see any amp?

Now for sub, I see a speaker on the rear deck, is that the sibwoofer? I also see this odd 6x9 shaped thing in the floor of the trunk, is that the sub, a 6x9, or could this be a weird shaped amp? Im so lost...i cant find the amp/sub...

anyone?

Default If you haven't already, try cross-posting this on the B6 forum

The audio forum doesn't get nearly as many views/posts as the main forums.

i tried - i cant over people not knowing/helping....ill dig today, ill take off both panels.....was the wiring pretty exposed whith your amp, or was there some oddball boot covering it? Maybe the box I found was the amp, but I really doubt it.....off the driver side panel goes

if thats it, ill have to see if the new bose amp is similar to some of the diagrams posted here so I can tap the rear channels, Id prefer to do that then using the LOC left and right off the sub lead even though its mono, just my personal preference!

thanks for checking in on me....

Least I got my power ran, thats 1/2 the battle
