I just installed an Avic N1 in our Avant A6 and put the backup camera just below the 3rd brake light on the back glass. I didn't have to drill by putting it there but I think the cam is too conspicuous there - I don't want it to be so obvious that some punk yanks it off there or realizes that we have some fairly high end a/v in the car.

My question is, has anyone else installed a backup cam on a wagon & if so - where did you put it? I'm thinking about near the license plate and drilling a hole for the wire but i'd like to hear other opinions as well. Better yet, if anyone has pics I'd love to see them.

I dont know if thats an option for you, but its more inconspicuous and it would be VERY hard to steal from the outside.
