Default ? about subs firing through back seat.

Is it necessary to do any modifications to the back of the back seat in order to get optimum sound from the woofers? The backing seems to be very solid and I believe would hinder most of the bass. If modification is necessary what are the best methods?

Thanks kerry

If you have a ski sack, take that out. Also, remove the rear deck speakers (if u can)

Default The seats really do seal up the sound - remove ski sack or remove rear deck speakers and mount subs

accordingly.

I removed the ski sack:

I tried both ways, and firing back sounded better.
