Adding CD player with existing ipod adapter

I got my new 08 S4 with NAV + ipod adapter. Thinking about adding a CD player. Has anyone done this yet? Any recommendations for model of CD player? Can it go in the trunk and/or glovebox?

You cannot use the OEM iPod adapter and a CD changer at the same time

But you can use a Dension Gateway 400 instead of the OEM iPod adapter and use both--correct??

Somehow...

AFAIK the Dension has a switch to select either iPod or CD. But the head unit has to be off to make the switch.

So far I think the ipod adapter stinks! Looking for alternatives!

I am sure that some of my problems are due to unfamiliarity with the system, but the audi system is misssing all the elegance that IPOD has to offer!

That said, in my owners manual it says that some of the navigation systems can play music CDs in the nav system DVD slot. How do I know if my new '08 S4 can do this? THANKS!
