Aftermarket stereo harness - two positive wires or?
Hey guys, the aftermarket harness I got for my stereo has two positive wires for each speaker (fr right, fr left, rear right, rear left).
One set of the positive wires is connected to a harness with a chassis ground wire and the remote turn on lead wire. The other set of positive wires is connected to the harness with the negative wires, chassis ground, battery lead, ignition power, illumination/dimmer, power antenna.
Which harness gets soldered onto the radio's harness?
This is for a 96 B5 A4 with the symphony system. The aftermarket deck is an alpine CDA-9856.
I had this deck previously in a Subaru and it was so straightforward to hook up... What's the deal with this two positive wires stuff?
