Default Airbag light / B5 S4

i was fiddling around with my trim and some other interior work in my B5 S4 and when i had completed my project the AIRBAG light is displayed on my dash. a few quick immediate questions come to mind:
1) did i *** it? does it still work?
2) howd it happen so i can avoid jackin it up in the future.
3) whats the best resolve?

Default Same here...

Strange. Same thing happened to me, and I got no answer. Basically, I did some stereo work, and the air bag light came on. No codes when scanned.

I've heard there are connectors under the seat to check, but when I looked under there, there are like 8 and I have no idea which one to inspect and I'm not going to start tearing stuff out from under the seat.

I believe the airbag controller is just under the stereo area, so something might be going on there.

What were you doing?

Yes the module is where you said - He probably disconnected a wire somewhere.
