This is what you would have to do to watch TV/DVD/VCR on a CVA-1005:
1 Step on brake and hold
2 Apply parking brake
3 Release parking brake
4 Apply parking brake while releasing foot brake
I have figured out a way to bypass the safety feature on this unit, if anyone has a Alpine with this safety feature and would like to bypass it feel free to e-mail me for more info on it.

Obviously you can connect the e-brake wire from the Alpine to a toggle switch instead of to the e-brake, but you will still have to walk through the process. Have you figured out something more elegant? If so, can you e-mail me at jason@vbclown.com.
