Default thin piece of the metal of the door frame...closest to the hinges..lower left corner..

..so the driver would fit in. there was a difference (for whatever reason) between drivers and passengers side. I only needed to do it on the passenger side.

Cheaper materials used, especially in the quality of the raw x-over components.

Default A few weeks back, did a Mini Cooper droptop with the 216's, and an oldchool PPI

Art series amp. Was really amazed by how well they sounded in the car.

It's really harder to get good sound in a 'vertible, and this setup rocked!

As always, it depends on the amp/headunit you push them with. I'm not saying they are the best out there, but they are much better than just "decent".

Yeah, it's way up there. The only thing more expensive, I believe, is Focal Utopia.

Default Results!

They are QM 160's.

2 x 5.25"
2 x 1.75" tweets...
2 x 218.03 xovers.

Anything worthwhile? A friend handed them down a while back when he upgraded, but they never made their way into a car yet...

Default I was actually going to buy a set of Supremos through avincar about a year ago

I really wanted it but I decided to wait on it until I found out more about it. I'm kind of happy I didn't buy it through him since he kind of fell of the face of the planet.
