I figured the audiophiles would know where to find electric components.
Does anybody have a source for the plain metal pins and sockets that I am showing in these pictures? I want to upgrade the wires and don't want to reuse the old pins and sockets.
There are two sizes, both with 5/8 inch (15 mm) pin length, but the diameter is 4 mm for one and 2.5 mm for the other.

The pins (and sockets) have little protrusions that hold the pins in place inside the plastic connector plug.

The problem is that I have no part number and these online catalogs often don't show a picture of the pin or socket. There is just such an incredible number of different styles.
