Default Amp/Noise problems still (update) PLEASE HELP!

So I finally got around to rewiring my amp like a few people on here suggested. I ran the RCAs straight into the speaker outs. Well guess what .... no sound! So I use this stupid ISO thing soundgate sent (after they suggested to try this method too) and that produces sound but also that hum is back. I don't get it because this device is not powered. I'm about to rip all this out. What should I do?

Default what noise are you talking about?

is it alternator whine? or crackling or what.

Default I was reffering to an old thread

in hopes people who saw it would help. I am getting noise from as soon as I turn the key to ignition. If I start the car I can hear the engine. I originally had a sounggate LOCB.2 in there (from the h/u's line outs) and they sent me a new one. No fix. They had me check all this stuff, I had a shop check every thing. Sound gate recommended to just tap the RCAs directly...so here we are. The amp ground is fine.

Default

as i keep saying, any engine noise is almost always due to poor grounding

Default where are your rcas? where is your power? i bet your rcas and power cables are too close together.

if you ran them on the same side of the car, you gotta move one of them.

if they are too closely wired in the trunk it will cause whine as well.

Default For my amp?

It's not the amp, I plugged my RCAs to my friends system (NO NOISE) and the noise was replicated. I also did a noise test on the amp. It's something audio side.

Default Opposite sides of the car - too close?

I'll check the trunk though.

Default Its the factory head unit ...

what do I do about that??? I checked EVERYTHING! and when I unplug the speaker out from the radio the noise stops. So I know the speaker wire is not picking up noise.

Default have you thought about getting an aftermarket deck?

sounds like you might want to just get a deck that has rca outs
