antenna amplifier
Can't find anything about this in the archives, but can someone tell me if my 1993 80 2.3E is likely to have an amplifier for the rear window antenna? If so, exactly where is it located?? Is power fed up the antenna coaxial cable, or from a separate 12v point?? Thanks in anticipation...

Found the amplifier behind the D-pillar trim on left-hand side. It is externally powered and can be checked by pulling the power supply plug (white wire on my car). Reception goes from poor to nil, so it must be working!
