04 Avant with infotainment, not a real S4, but identical sound system/layout. You lose sat radio but gain 5000 songs. I found a hack to manually switch between sat and phatnoise, you have to use a switch besides the one on the radio. Email me for details. I have a plan on paper for an automatic switcher, which im 99.99% sure will work, just dont have the time to invest, and also im **** about the install and Audi doesnt make the connector yet, id have to either cut and splice or else just shove wires into a connector and tape. Neither of which is great for sound quality. I need a source for the 20 pin connector on the back of the radio. (not the harness side, the radio side).
I still havent permanantly mounted the phatnoise unit in the trunk area. I dont like the factory recomended spot, too conspicous if the window shade is open and too vulnerable to cargo (that IS why I bought an Avant you know!)
Let me know if you want details, basically the phatnoise wants pins 18-20 in the connector and so does the sat radio. You need to create double pole switch to switch 2 pins at the same time. One is a ground and can be always connected to both units.
If I could get the connector, I would buy some electronics and solder up an auto switcher. I found a circuit that will automatically switch between two audio sources based on which one is active.

it was the same model which i used on my 2002 A6. I just velcored it on the bottom of the trunk and its holding nicely. that's about it. wiring harness works with navi plus without any problems.
