I have a bandpass box with two tens.
I have been thinking about cutting backdeck because in my older car (Honda accord) it sounded a little better if I dropped the back seats.
Any ideas

I wouldnt do that if I were you.. Your going to loose the structural stentgh of your car by cutting the backdeck.. Why not just fold down the seats if you want more base,,

I'm a stereo newbie, but some people in this group have suggested the following instead of cutting into the deck:
1. Remove the rear deck speakers so that the bass can travel through the speaker holes.
2. If you car has a ski-sack (and you don't use it for skis), then you could cut out the sack to leave a large hole. Then you only have to lower the rear arm-rest instead of the whole rear seat.
