I posted this a long time ago, but never saw if I got a response. I would LOVE to use horns with a 7-8" midbass mounted in the kick panel. Just don't think that there is enough room. I have NOT dug around a lot in my car to check for space. I guess I'm lazy and hope that someone here knows the answer already.

The horn trend has finally come to an end apparently. I have only heard two cars with them that sounded remotely good. Neither of these guys used drivers that were offered from a car audio manufacturer. Check out a good set of components and a great install. Chances are that you'll realize that horms aren't all that people claimed they were a few years ago, as far as SQ is concerned.
