Default anyone experience 'volume ghosts' with the Bose/Concert

A while back I noticed that my volume was intermittantly incresing and decreasing, it was cold out, thats all I remember. It happened again this AM, the volume was low and I noticed the volume go up, then up, then down a bit, then up, then noticeably up, then down again, once I gave the rotary **** a good full blast twist, the problem went away?? Any ideas...except to replace it with a real head unit (given).

Default mine did that.....

assuming your not talking about the GALA feature that adjusts the level to compensate for roadnoise the faster you drive.... The **** on my radio was screwy in that sometimes you didn't need to turn it till it clicked to increse the volume. I could rattle it back and fourth between clicks and it would raise or lower the volume.

i've got the same thing on my '96 A4 Delta radio.......you can turn on the radio, it will stay at a medium level, as soon as you touch the volume ****...it goes full blast & has to be turned off...?? very strange, but don't want to replace the radio w/ aftermarket, had too many breakins to do that.....any ideas?
