Its an awesome unit. Get it if you can. How much? Would the double din AVN5495 look nicer. It is basicly the same as the AVN7000, except it's double din. I personally have a AVN5435, which I still need to put in my car, but the Eclipse units are really nice, and the double din will look much better.

I'll check that one out too - though don't think dd will fit currently.
I may be getting it for < $800 so I figure at that price I can't go wrong. Just wanted to see if people had it and liked it.

Would be coming from a vendor with warranty and everything. So def not hot.
Basically I buy a lot of stuff from this one particular vendor for work. He owes me a couple favors so he thinks he could get me this well below his cost. I am waiting for him to verify price which is boss needed to approve, but for that money I figure I have to buy it.

I think they are just trying to keep me, as a buyer, happy so are willing to take a loss on this one
But sounds like it is a good unit, though the double din unit seems cooler with the auto rip of CD feature. Getting that to fit in my dash would be a royal pain in the *** though so should just stick with the 7000.
