or 165watts at 2ohms. Is that enough?
Why do you suggest the dyn's?
The model of Rainbows i saw was PRO Line CS265-P3
They are a 6.5" 2-way.

you might get the nominal output. might sound nice, but not pulling out yheir true performance.
i had them powered by 4chx100watts@4ohms bridged into 2chX400@4ohms. mine is dynaudio WLQ5 (same as 220 series)
if you want to know why i suggest you for the dyn's, just compared the speakers between dyn and rainbow. the only weakness in dyn's are their power consumption
sorry, dunno bout the rainbow series, but they are decent brands.
one thing about rainbow, sine they are mostly made in korea (not like before, they were still made in germany) although the box said they made in germany.
the diff between the greman and korea made is in the dot in the letter "i" in the word "rainbow"
if it's red, then they are still made in germany
if it's silver, then they are made in korea.
i know this from the rainbow distributor here. the guy who works there gave me the advice when i'm looking for some good speakers

The Arc audio is a very nice amplifier. I have rainbow 6.5 in my doors, and 5.25 in custom kick panels. You could email me at acchu@csupomona.edu if you have any questions. I could point you in the direction of some people that have good experience/knowledge of rainbow components. My friend has the Dynaudio system 240 as well. Email me or contact me on AIM at ungucpho79 if you have any questions.

If you read various online Car Audio Forums you'll people tout Rainbow has the best speaker on the face of the earth. A lot of it was just BIG HUGE HYPE.
Yes, they are excellent. Their higher lines (the ones that compare in price to Dynaudio and Focal Utopia) are just as good. Then they have their ridiculously expensive line that is 2x-3x more expensive.
Much of the hype about the name came out because they were just a new company putting out quality stuff. People wanted different product so they baught it and pushed the name hard. There is nothing extra special about their lines compared to their competitors.
